Brent Pierce is a California based multi instrumentalist, composer, and producer rooted in traditional bluegrass and American string band music. Known for his expressive instrumental writing and tasteful, melody driven playing, Pierce blends classic Appalachian influences with a modern studio sensibility.

An accomplished guitarist, banjo picker, and dobro player, Pierce leads the Brent Pierce Band and has released a growing catalog of instrumental and vocal recordings that highlight both tradition and originality. His compositions emphasize strong melodic themes, dynamic arrangements, and authentic ensemble interplay.

Pierce has collaborated with and featured Grammy winning musicians Cody Kilby (Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, The Traveling McCourys) and Mark Fain (Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder), along with respected West Coast and Nashville players. His recordings often showcase flatpicking guitar, call and response banjo and guitar lines, and driving rhythm sections that reflect classic bluegrass performance values.

In addition to performing, Pierce is an experienced songwriter and producer, overseeing his own studio projects from composition through final mix. His work has appeared on multiple releases and digital platforms, earning recognition for its musicianship, clarity, and respect for the bluegrass tradition.
